I just took a few moments to check out your website. After seeing it, I stand by my earlier remarks.
Your landscapes have a quality that can best be described as "silent". They convey an atmosphere of space and quietude.
Your cityscapes do the same, but add an additional element. There is a sense that nature is never really far off. I try to capture that sense in some of mine, but from a distance. Where you show flora and fauna in the midst of the urban mileau, I try to show the city off in the distance,. In essence, you show urbanization as being encrached upon by nature, while I show nature being encroached upon by urbanization.
Lastly, you truly have a great ability to convey personality in your photos. Perhaps I am biased because of her attractiveness, but the portraits of your friend A curled on a bed in purplish light were especially powerful. I have no ability working with people. While not a misanthrope, I simply lack the patience to communicate to the model.
